• The University of Louisville Women's Soccer Team invite's you to attend our 2008 Future Cardinals Camp!

July 21-25

9am-Noon

The camp is open to girls ages 7-13, and it is a great opportunity for young players to develop their skills. The University of Louisville staff and players are committed to providing each camper with individualized attention, providing them with skills and knowledge in a fun and challenging environment that will keep players smiling and wanting to learn more.

• Code of Conduct

Kentucky Youth Soccer Association has a set Code of Conduct that coaches, players, parents/spectators and referees are to abide by.  Please click here to read the Code of Conduct that is in effect for the GCYS.

We all have to remember, that we are there for the children.  Let the coaches coach and the referees ref.

The referees have the final decision in all calls made during the play of the game.

Please be advised that there have been rule additions effective 09-14-2007.  To see these changes click here.

 

• New Registration Deadlines have been Placed

  Effective August 2007
  The board has decided to implement standard registration deadlines for the Spring and Fall Registrations.   Effective immediately, the following dates will now be the registration deadline for GCYS soccer:
  • Spring Registration deadline will be December 5th.
  • Fall Registration deadline will be June 5th

 

• Kentucky Youth Soccer Launches Blog

  Effective September 2007
  Kentucky Youth Soccer is today announcing the launch of the Kentucky Youth Soccer Blog. The goal of this blog is to provide the online community an additional informal way to communicate the great game of soccer here in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. We have lots of ideas of subjects that we plan to cover, but if you want to contribute to the blog? Let us know by contacting us at: marketing@kysoccer.net. To the best of our knowledge, Kentucky Youth Soccer is the first US Youth Soccer State Association to jump into the blogsphere.
